In the first time of history, chamois has appeared at the territory of  Lagodekhi Protected Areas.

The above animal has fixed by one of the photo trap. Photo traps had fixed at Lagodekhi Protected Areas by the financial support of Caucasus  Nature Fund (CNF) in order to record aurochs’ at Lagodekhi Strict Nature Reserve’s territory.

The project is being implemented by Agency of Protected Areas within cooperation of NACRES. Chamois is  Red List animal.
