New Fire Prevention Technology in the Borjom-Kharagauli National Park

New Fire Prevention Technology in the Borjom-Kharagauli National Park.

A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Agency of Protected Areas and the International Business and Economic Development Center.

The memorandum envisages the strengthening of the Borjom-Kharagauli National Park administration in the direction of biodiversity monitoring and fire prevention. In particular, a special mast and cameras will be installed in the Borjomi-Kharagauli protected areas, and the software will be developed as well, which will ultimately provide the administration with information about the danger of fire.

The Agency of Protected Areas of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture continuously works on implementing modern technologies in the protected areas, both to effectively protect the unique nature and to improve the working conditions of the park rangers.
