At the most popular national park in Georgia – Martvili Canyon, repairing works are in the process. The above process was inspected by the Chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas Mr. Valerian Mchedlidze.

Martvili Canyon was visited by 200 000 visitors in 2018. Out of them 40% is Georgian and 60% is foreigner.  

New extreme attraction zip-line will be arranged on place, which will be additional service for tourists.

Agency of Protected Areas’ one of the main priority is safety and visitors’’ comfort. Therefore, protected grids were arranged in the relevant zones, bridges and panoramic platforms were repaired and additional WC were arranged on place.

2018 year was extremely successful for the Agency of Protected Areas. The park was visited by record numbers of visitors – more than 1 million.
