The first stage of the tender announced by the Agency of Protected Areas of Georgia – prequalification for the consultancy services for the preparation of baseline studies and management plans for Racha National Park, Kvereti Managed Reserve and Tana Managed Reserve - has been completed.
According to the decision of the evaluation committee, the following two consultants successfully passed the first stage for all three lots:
1. GeoNature Corporation LTD - Georgia
2. Centre for Biodiversity Conservation & Research (NACRES) and Development Evaluation and Progress Assessment (DEPA) – Joint Venture, Georgia
The consultancy services include the preparation of baseline studies and management plans for the following lots:
• Lot 1: Racha National Park - Ref. No.: BSLD/CS/NCB-03/LOT-1
• Lot 2: Kvereti Managed Reserve - Ref. No.: BSLD/CS/NCB-03/LOT-2
• Lot 3: Tana Managed Reserve - Ref. No.: BSLD/CS/NCB-03/LOT-3
The procurement process is being implemented under the “Biodiversity and Sustainable Local Development in Georgia (BSLD)” project, financed by the German Development Bank (KfW).
