The Process of Obtaining Consent for Photo and Video Shooting in Georgia’s Protected Areas Has Been Digitized
To improve service efficiency and simplify administrative procedures, the Agency of Protected Areas now accepts applications for photo and video shooting permits electronically.

Interested parties can complete and submit the application form, along with the required information, via the following website: https://parks.ge/#/register

The new, streamlined system for issuing photo and video shooting permits is based on international best practices and tailored to Georgia’s specific context. The Agency aims to strike a balance between environmental protection and commercial interests, thereby contributing to nature conservation, promoting protected areas, and supporting their sustainable development.

Revenue generated from issued permits is allocated to the conservation of protected areas, infrastructure improvements, and the enhancement of visitor services.

Under current regulations, photo and video shooting activities are divided into the following main categories:

1. Small-scale commercial shoots

2. Large-scale commercial shoots

3. Non-commercial shoots:

3.1. Social, educational, scientific, and other non-commercial projects;
3.2. Scheduled news coverage and thematic reporting;
3.3. Shoots conducted for state and/or public purposes.
