A follow-up working meeting was held regarding the establishment of new protected areas in the Kakheti region. Representatives of local self-government bodies attended the meeting and received detailed information about the objectives and benefits of the planned initiative.
The establishment of new protected areas in the Kakheti region is planned across approximately 40,374 hectares within the municipalities of Gurjaani, Telavi, and Sagarejo.
