An international standard visitor center was opened in the Kharagauli administration of the Borjom-Kharagauli National Park.

The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Iuri Nozadze, together with the Chairman of the Agency Protected Areas, Davit Iosebashvili, and the Executive Director of the Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF), Tobias Munchmeyer, visited the visitor center. Representatives of the local municipality attended the event.

The visitor center offers detailed information about the park's biodiversity and ecotourism services to its visitors. Through a modern exhibition space, the center showcases the park's main attractions using visual and audio materials, providing interactive and engaging information to visitors of all ages.

"The Kharagauli administrative building of the Borjom-Kharagauli National Park has been transformed into a modern visitor center, adhering to international standards. Visitors will now have access to complete information about the Borjom-Kharagauli National Park. Such infrastructure fosters visitors' interest in a specific region, which ultimately benefits the local population," stated Deputy Minister Iuri Nozadze.

The Kharagauli visitor center was opened with the financial support of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and the Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF), including the technical implementation provided by the World Wildlife Fund.
