Closing Event of the Project "I Protect My Country's Nature" Held in Tbilisi National Park

The closing event of the project "I Protect My Country's Nature" was held in Tbilisi National Park. Within the framework of the project, young people living adjacent to Georgia's protected areas had the opportunity to participate in a competition and submit works on the theme "I Protect My Country's Nature" in the form of an essay, photograph, or drawing.

The project was carried out throughout the year with the active involvement of the territorial administrations of the Protected Areas Agency. Numerous eco-educational activities, informative meetings, and field trips were organized for the participants across various protected areas of Georgia, helping them gain a better understanding of the importance of nature conservation.

At the closing event, the competition participants and winners were awarded special certificates and symbolic gifts.

The project aims to raise environmental awareness among youth, promote a culture of nature conservation, strengthen ecological responsibility, and deepen knowledge about the importance of protected areas.
