Chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas held a meeting with the population of Pshavi.

The meeting aimed survey’s results introduction to the local population, which had been held in Pshavi-Khevsureti. As Lasha Moistsrapishvili   mentioned, establishment capacities of protected areas at Pshavi boarders had been determained as a result of the survey. 

As a result of the above survey and existing information, clarified that parks in Khevsureti are in coordinance with law enquires and at the part of Pshavi, where has not established protected area yet, it is possible to establish 5^th category protected area – Protected landscape. Population of Pshavi advocates first stage of the project and agrees its implementation.

Surveys had been held in the frame of the project Protected Areas Facilitation Program –Georgia (Eco-Regional Conservation’s III Phase) by the financial support of BMZ and KfW.
