Signing of Cooperation Framework

Chairman of the Agency of Protected Areas Rati Japaridze, Chairman of the Board of non-profitable, non-commercial legal entity Cartu Fund Nikoloz Chkhetiani and Executive Director of the Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF) David Morrison signed the Cooperation Framework at the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection.

Cartu Fund expresses its willing to repair the roof of the administration building and arrange a three-day trail at Black Rocks Lake within the amount of up to GEL 170,000. In 2014, Cartu will identify a contractor who will act as project implementer (PI) to be agreed in consultation with APA and CNF. The PI will develop and submit to Cartu, APA and CNF a plan and detailed cost estimates for refurbishing the roof of the administration building and for arranging  the trail including construction of tourist facilities.
